Made of cold cast resin and hand painted in Scotland, this Colour Box piece has been originally hand sculpted by artist Peter Fagan who is more than an artist. He is also a collector. Peter shares his collections by modelling perfect miniatures of those that are close to his heart. This Colourbox piece is part of the Home Sweet Home Collection and measures approximately 2¼ inches tall. Originally issued in 1984 and retired in 1991, this piece features a black and white cat sat on top of an old wireless listening intently to the latest broadcast. There is an later version of this piece that was painted in lighter colours. The one pictured here is a early version that has been painted in darker colours.
